Who is R&G Brenner?

Here at R&G Brenner, we have a reputation of being a company you can trust. We are the oldest and largest privately owned all-year income tax preparation business currently operating in the United States, and we have been a family owned company since our establishment in 1941.

The company was started as the Tax Center by David S. Brenner C.P.A. along with his wife, Betty Brenner. At the time, we were the first business of the kind, and we quickly gained a reputation of being dependable and trustworthy. That reputation still holds true today.

We are currently owned and operated by third generation Brenners, and we still practice the same principles of providing great customer service and a caring, family environment that our company’s founders believed in so strongly. Most of our consultants have worked for us for years, and any new consultants go through a rigorous screening process to be sure you receive only the best service.

In addition to our friendly, hands-on feel, we are also up to date on all the current trends in income tax consulting. We offer electronic filing options, fast service, and a quick turnaround at a very fair price.

This information, however, is not the best way for you to really get to know us. At R&G Brenner, we know that people are what really matters, so we’d like to introduce you to the people who make up the R&G Brenner family. 

David S. Brenner is the C.E.O of the company and is a second generation Brenner. He has been involved in the business for over 60 years and has a Masters degree. Although he is semi-retired, David continues to be involved in the company he has given so much of his life to.

Carol A. Brenner has been the Vice President of the company since 1972. She is in charge of managing company money exchanges, dealing with office experience policies and payroll, and with being sure the business stays as up to date as possible. Carol’s brother, Brian Kelly, also serves as Vice President and has been with the company for almost 20 years. He is a trusted finanical advisor and tax consultant and is also responsible for taking on the difficult yet rewarding job of fielding the many questions that come in concering billing and tax laws. Last, but not least, Rose Brenner Devito, affectionally known as Rosie, also serves as Vice President. She is the daughter of Robert and Carol Brenner and began working for the company as Assistant Branch Manager almost 10 years ago. Her strong work ethic and incredible determination led her to her current position as director of the Human Resources Department.

Gregory F. Brenner serves as the Director of Operations and as the head of the Maintenance & Inventory Departments. He is directly responsible for the internal audit and outside quality control department.

Yasmin Brenner serves as Accounts Manager and has been with our company for almost 10 years. She manages the Payroll & Administrative Departments.

Michael R. Devito is the Mergers & Acquisitions, Property & Insurance Manger and has been a dedicated employee of the company for over 12 years. He manages all lease agreements and takes care of all our insurance needs.

Louis A. Arena is our Chief Operating Officer and is a real dynamo with experience in the entertainment, music, banking, finance, telecommunications, real estate, and software development industries! He brings all his areas of expertise to the plate while helping us manage our day to day operations.
